Motion Education was started in 2012 through Dynamite Gymnastics Center. Our owner, Michelle Carhart wanted to find a place where everyone could learn and love gymnastics as much as she does. Starting off with only 3 employees and a 15,000 sq. ft fully equipped gymnastics center, Motion Education has grown to four separate centers in Rockville and Gaithersburg with over 50 students and 8 instructors. Our programs are all designed to work with each child on their unique goals, from private lessons to shadowing for integration, we aspire to guild children with a comforting, coaching hand.

Since then we have expanded to working in four separate facilities. Three of which are in the same parking lot. We are able to accommodate students of all needs and levels to help them learn in a fun, healthy and active environment. These gyms include more than gymnastics, we now offer ninja warrior training, and parkour to assist children in their goals through activities they resonate with the most.

Motion Education is still a small business with only about 25 kids and 5 instructors. We have expanded across our available space to give students more space to be themselves while learning and being active. Our driving goal has always been to teach students who need extra time and space to get stronger and be more confident in their movements and we will continue to achieve that as we grow.
